Orano Canada has been exploring for uranium, developing mines and producing uranium concentrate for over 60 years in Saskatchewan. The Orano-operated McClean Lake mill is a unique facility that allows for the processing of high-grade uranium ore without dilution. We acknowledge that Orano Canada’s activities are conducted on Treaty 6, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 Territory, and the Homeland of the Métis. We pay our respects to the First Nations and Métis ancestors of this land in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.

The awards have been created in celebration of the successful Cluff Lake uranium operation and to support tomorrow’s leaders in uranium mining and clean nuclear energy.
