Reilly Ingram Memorial Award
The Reilly Ingram Memorial Award is offered in honour of the late Reilly Ingram to an up-and-coming carpentry apprentice.
Reilly was born and raised in Saskatoon where he graduated Grade 12 from Marion Graham Collegiate. Shortly following, he started his career as a concrete finisher before his love of travel took him to Australia when he was 19. It was there that he learned to ‘carpent’, as he liked to call it.
Returning home from his travels in Australia, he was fortunate to continue working with Sautner Concrete Services in the summer and learn carpentry with Keyway Contracting in the winters. He continued to pursue both jobs through the future seasons.
From the day Reilly was born he was meant to fill the world with happiness. His infectious smile and quick witted humor touched everything and everyone along his short journey. Devastatingly though – the depth of his passion and caring for others was his hardest struggles.
It was with great sadness that the family of Reilly Ingram announced his passing on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the age of 25. Reilly will be remembered by his lifelong best friend, his sister Nicki (Klayton), his Mom Cheryl, Dad Lorne (Kim), and by his Grandma Mac.
In honour of Reilly, his family, loved ones, and friends have come together to create this student award. Their intention is to encourage others to pursue their hobbies and make the most of life. This award is a small token to help alleviate the financial burden of pursuing further education and inspire others to spread happiness in Reilly’s name.
