Rick Smith Legacy Achievement Scholarship

The Rick Smith Legacy Achievement Scholarship was created to encourage and recognize students who are planning to pursue a career in Business Insurance.

Rick has spent the past 33 years as a Partner and leader of HK Henderson Insurance Inc., one of Saskatchewan’s premier brokerages with offices located in Moose Jaw and Regina. Rick feels strongly about professional development and pursued training opportunities throughout his career that built on his broad expertise in the insurance industry. His commitment to client success has greatly contributed to the company’s exponential growth through his willingness to share his knowledge and ideas through mentoring and coaching the HK Henderson team.

As Rick prepares to embark on a new chapter in his life, HK Henderson Insurance Inc. are commemorating his achievements and expressing their gratitude for his valuable service. The Rick Smith Legacy Achievement Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time student enrolled in Year 2 of the Business Insurance Diploma Program at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw campus and who demonstrates a commitment to the field.
