Saskatchewan Addiction Foundation Inc.
The Saskatchewan Addiction Foundation Inc. (SAFI) was a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about addiction and recovery in Saskatchewan. SAFI evolved from an earlier nonprofit, SABAS, Saskatchewan Associations of the Boards of Addiction Services. Our Board members have always been people with deep compassion for those struggling with substance use disorders and also with great hope for the rewards of recovery. Our board members were generally people with lived or family experience. We created the Saskatchewan Addiction Foundation Bursary to help students on their educational journey to become professionals in the addiction and mental health support field. Find out more about us through Facebook.
To be eligible to receive the Saskatchewan Addiction Foundation Bursary, a student must be enrolled full-time in the Mental Health and Addictions Counselling program.
