Timothy Alan Memorial Scholarship

Timothy was born and raised in Saskatchewan. Tim was a family man, being with the ones he loved brought him true happiness. He had a deep love of nature and wildlife. A craftsman at heart, he embraced work that helped build and shape the world around him.

He enrolled in the Integrated Resource Management Diploma Program in 2016. He found profound meaning and purpose learning about landscapes, forestry and natural resources in Saskatchewan.

Timothy battled heroically with mental health and addictions and ultimately lost his life at a time when he was fighting for sobriety. Tim had a huge heart and a strong desire to help others as well as the world.

It is the Vass family’s honor to establish the Timothy Alan Memorial Scholarship in his name. Our hope is that these funds serve as a support to those who have struggled or triumphed in their own mental health journey and are pursuing similar educational or personal goals that Timothy strived for. So that his life may be a light. A legacy of love, hope and inspiration.
