Western Feed Industry Association

Western Feed Industry Association (WFIA) is a Division of the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada (ANAC). ANAC is the national trade association of the livestock and poultry feed industry whose mandate is to foster a favorable regulatory and business environment while supporting initiatives to maintain the highest standards of feed and food safety.

The WFIA represents 72 member companies in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Our WFIA members include feed manufacturers and distributors, as well as suppliers of goods and services such as feed ingredients, nutritional additives, animal nutrition products, equipment, packaging, and testing services. The feed industry is a key component of Canada’s agri-food economy and an active partner in the nation’s food safety system.
