CIC Continuing Bursary for Indigenous Students

Be enrolled full-time in Year 2 (academic terms three or four) or in the fifth (5th) academic term of a Co-operative Education program which includes five (5) academic terms, or any eligible diploma program at any Saskatchewan Polytechnic campus, offered on-campus, through distance, delivery, or a combination of on-campus, and distance delivery. (Please Note: For students enrolled in the fifth (5th) academic term of a Co-operative Education program which includes five (5) academic terms, the value of the bursary will be reduced to $2500 to reflect the reduced length of the third academic year. Be of self-declared Indigenous ancestry (includes Status First Nation, Non-status First Nation, Metis or Inuit). Be a Saskatchewan resident for at least the past 12 months, and Have a minimum 65% average.

Financial Need (75% weighting). Academic Achievement (25% weighting). If there are not sufficient eligible applications, and bursary funds designated to Continuing Bursaries but not awarded, will be redirected to Entrance Bursaries for awarding.
This award is renewable. To receive the second installment of the bursary, the recipient must remain enrolled in the program and have maintained a minimum 65% overall average.
